Senior resource summit to be hosted for older adults and caregivers

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — An upcoming event will work to provide families and caregivers with access to experts and resources that support healthy aging.
Hosparus Health says, in collaboration with Pallitus Health Partners, and Kentucky ElderLaw, PLLC, it is sponsoring the Senior Resource Summit on Tuesday, March 18 at The Medical Center – WKU Health Sciences Complex.
The event is set from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
“Many families caring for aging loved ones feel isolated and unsure of where to turn for help,” said Kristen Roderick, community outreach manager at Hosparus Health. “The Senior Resource Summit brings dozens of local service providers together under one roof, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about available healthcare, legal, and social support services.”
At the event, there will sessions led by local experts, including the following:
- Hosparus Health & Pallitus Health Partners: A discussion of specialized programs that support patients and families navigating serious illnesses, including symptom management and holistic care.
- Kentucky Elder Law Attorney John Dotson: Guidance on senior asset protection, long-term care planning, Medicaid, probate, and VA benefits.
- Attendees can also:
- Browse exhibitor booths and local vendors.
- Learn about resources for healthcare, legal and financial planning, senior living, and more.

“Caregivers and seniors alike often don’t realize how many resources are available to help them,” added Roderick. “Our goal is to empower families to access the support they need for optimal quality of life.”
