Horse Cave woman accused of possession of methamphetamine

Around 3 a.m. Wednesday, Bowling Green police arrested a woman accused of possession of over 115 grams of methamphetamine.

Brittany Lacy, 26, of Horse Cave, was a passenger in a vehicle police pulled over because the vehicle had no brake lights, according to her arrest citation.

The driver of the vehicle gave police consent to search the vehicle.

Police said they discovered a digital scale and a small plastic bag with white residue in it inside a purse near Lacy, according to the citation.

Lacy told police the bag was her friend Rhonda’s but once in custody and asked if she had any illegal items on her, she reached in her bra and pulled out a prescription bottle with multiple pills resembling Xanax pills, plus a glass pipe with white residue and four bags filled with white crystals, according to her citation.

Lacy allowed officers to read through her texts where it appeared she was selling drugs to Rhonda, the citation reads.

Lacy was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
