Horse Cave resident wins Trooper Island Camp raffle

HORSE CAVE, Ky. – Congratulations are in order for a Horse Cave resident.

The Kentucky State Police announced Monday that Sarah Alvey of Horse Cave is the winner of the 2025 Trooper Island Camp, Inc. drawing.

Alvey reportedly won out of 42,000 tickets sold total.

Troopers say this is the highest number of tickets sold in Trooper Island’s history.

The winner can select from prizes of $50,000 cash or a 2025 Corvette Stingray.
