Horse Cave man arrested after internet crimes against children investigation

HORSE CAVE, Ky.- A Hart County man is behind bars after an undercover internet crimes against children investigation.

On Monday, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Steven Rhodes, 25, on charges related to prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor.

The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after they say they discovered Rhodes communicating with juveniles online.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Horse Cave. Officers seized equipment, which was taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.

Rhodes was lodged in the Hart County Detention Center.
