Hopkinsville first responders answer child’s call to 911 about missing Santa

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – First responders in Hopkinsville answered an unexpected call in late December.
Seven-year-old Kian dialed 911 because he was upset about missing Santa’s drive-by the week prior, officials say.
That’s when Hopkinsville Fire and EMS and the Hopkinsville Police Department stepped in.
They decided to help give Kian a gift of their own with a special firehouse tour.
The Hopkinsville Police Department shared their response, saying, “To Kian, it was an emergency. To us, it was a pleasure.”
