Homeless shelter needs Bowling Green volunteers to prepare lunches and serve
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green’s Room in the Inn needs volunteers to help with homeless guests who utilize their Day Shelter services. The organization specifically needs people to distribute lunches at the facility each day from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., sign up guests to take showers and pass out personal care items and clothing.

Also, Room in the Inn is asking for bagged lunches. Those looking to help should prepare brown bag lunches and drop them off at 1033 U.S. 31-W Bypass. These lunches should preferably be shelf-stable because guests will not have access to refrigeration once they leave.
Volunteers can also help out in the winter months from November 15-March 15 each year connecting Room in the Inn’s homeless guests with churches to spend the night.
Those wishing to donate can help the organization meet their monetary needs by visiting here.
