Homeless man wanted by law enforcement arrested in Edmonson County
BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- A homeless man wanted by law enforcement in Edmonson county is behind bars.
According to the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies located Larry Geralds, 42, outside of a Subway restaurant on Tuesday.
Deputies said they had been attempting to locate and arrest the man on felony crimes committed within the county, based on information from a previous investigation.
Deputies said when they searched the man’s vehicle outside of the Subway, they located suspected methamphetamine, and various suspected prescription pain killers, such as oxymorphone and buprenorphine hydrochloride.
Geralds was arrested and charged with numerous crimes, including possession and trafficking in a controlled substance.
He was also charged with engaging in organized crime from the previous investigation.
Geralds was lodged in the Hart County Detention center and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
