Holley LS Fest drives people into Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN Ky. – Car enthusiasts revved up for the 10th annual Holley LS Fest at the Beech Bend Racetrack.

From car shows to races, there’s no shortage of entertainment for drivers and spectators alike. The raceway is also filled with vendors who are ready to meet new people and get them what they need to keep on trucking.

“It’s great. We have a great turnout. I think the tally is going to be pretty close to 1,300 cars. They usually fill out everything here at Beech Bend Raceway. We expect to have a sellout event again as well,” said Warren Ekery from the Scoggin Dickey Parts Center.

During just day one, visitors filled the racetrack from one end to the other Friday.

“It’s all over the internet. I figured it would be something fun to take my brother to and check out all the cars,” said Jared Mckinney, a visitor from Tennessee.

Mckinney said the experience never gets old no matter how many years he comes to the fest.

“Always 10 out of 10 for sure. It’s a great time, they have lots going on. You really can’t ask for much more,” Mckinney said.
