Hilltoppers Earn No. 2 Seed in Conference USA Tournament
NEWARK, Del. — After winning the final conference game of the 2026 season, WKU Softball has secured the No. 2 seed in the Conference USA tournament hosted by the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.
After concluding the regular season on Saturday, the Hilltoppers finished with a 37-12 overall record and a record of 19-8 in CUSA play. WKU’s .704 conference winning percentage also earned them a first-round bye and will begin gameplay on Thursday, May 7 at 1:30 p.m. CT.
The conference tournament officially begins on Wednesday, May 6, with two single-elimination playoff games at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. CT. The winners of those games will go on to play No. 3 seed Liberty and No. 4 seed Delaware.
The winner of the game between No. 3 Liberty and the winner of the prior elimination game will take on WKU on Thursday, May 7 at 1:30 p.m. CT.
All games will be broadcast on ESPN+ except for the championship game on Saturday, May 9. The championship game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
