Hilltopper Volleyball eyes first home win of 2024

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Volleyball is back at practice this week as the team looks to get its first home win against Arkansas State on Friday.

The Lady Tops are coming off a tough week of losses that showed WKU can compete with some of the best teams in country but is still working to finish strong to get the win on paper.

Head coach Travis Hudson knows expectations are high for these Lady Tops, but also knows getting a win over these top teams is no easy challenge.

“I mean, it’s a ridiculous standard in our program. You know, we lost more matches in the last week than we’ve lost in entire seasons many times, but this is not shocking to me,” Coach Hudson said. “I mean, we talked about it early in preseason that this was going to be a stretch where any win was going to be a good win.”
