High School Football Team help clear damage after severe storm

It has been a tough past week for Kentuckians, as thousands are still without power and facing lots of damage, after the brunt of a storm hit the Woodford County area, on Friday.

But members of the Woodford County High School Football Team are hard at work, which is a good thing for one family, as it was "go time" for the group of strong, young men willing to help out.

A state of emergency was declared on Friday night. Power remains out in many areas.

Resident, Nicole Brocato, knows it could’ve been much worse, as she’s getting help from her son’s teammates from the football team, who are getting things cleared out and learning an important lesson along the way.

In this community "Rallying around a teammate", is not something they only do on the football field.
