Henderson man indicted for charges connected to fentanyl overdose deaths

HENDERSON, Ky. – A Henderson man is facing two counts of fentanyl distribution, which allegedly resulted in two deaths.
Court documents say between Dec. 27, 2021 and Jan. 31, 2022, Elijah Lovell, 19, of Henderson, distributed fentanyl that resulted in the death of another person, “J.H. In addition, court documents say on May 5, 2022, Lovell distributed fentanyl that resulted in the death of a “C.G.”
If convicted, Lovell faces a minimum sentence of 20 years and a maximum sentence of life in prison. There is no parole in the federal system.
