Healthcare company donates thousands of dollars to Bowling Green nonprofits

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A healthcare organization is donating $325,000 to nine Kentucky nonprofit organizations, including three in south central Kentucky, in an effort to improve comprehensive health outcomes across the state.

The Boys and Girls Club of Bowling Green is one of the nine nonprofit organizations receiving the grant from Molina Healthcare.

In total, the Boys and Girls Club will receive $25,000.

The grants will support programs that directly address food insecurity, rural access to care, foster care, social determinants of health and self-empowerment.

Since 1949, the Boys and Girls Club has been working to advance education, academic success and the overall health of children.

Molina Healthcare also donated $50,000 to Audubon Area Community Services in Bowling Green and $25,000 to Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland.
