Head for the Hill gives prospective students a view of campus

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Potential Western Kentucky University students made a visit to the hill for an event called Head for the Hill.

Head for the Hill is an event where high school students with an interest in attending WKU spend time on campus as a collective group.

During the event, university staff guide the potential students through information sessions on financial aid, housing and residence life and various other topics.

School officials said they’re hoping this trip has inspired these students to enroll on the hill.

“We just want to show students that regardless of what it is they want to study, regardless of what activities they want to participate in, we believe that there’s a spot for them at WKU,” said WKU director of recruitment and admissions Jace Lux.

The next Head for the Hill event will be held on Feb. 17.
