Hazardous Waste Day

Saturday, a group that included the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, the Bowling Green Fire Department, Warren County Stormwater, and even inmates from the Warren County Regional Jail came out to help keep our community clean.

March 25th was Household Hazardous Waste Day, and hundreds of residents came out to get rid of anything from motor oil, pesticides, aerosols, and even old TVs.

This marks the 20th year this type of event has been hosted.

The spring waste removal marks the first one being held this year with another being held later in the fall.

But, if you have hazardous waste that needs to be removed before then, don’t throw it away. Instead, head here to find out how you can dispose of it safely.
