Hart County Sheriff’s Office apprehends two men on drug, theft charges

UPTON, Ky. – Two men are facing theft, and drug possession charges.
The Hart County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call Friday afternoon about stolen property from Grayson County.
The complainant followed a silver Ford truck until the vehicle was out of sight.
A deputy says he located the vehicle traveling on Millerstown Road and conducted a traffic stop.
The subjects of the theft investigation were identified as James Burba and Dustin Davis.
During the investigation, the deputy says a pill bottle with suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, marijuana grinders, a bag of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia were located.
The deputy says Barba and Davis admitted to the theft in Grayson County.
Burba is charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (1st offense – methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia (buy/possess), tampering with physical evidence, and receiving stolen property $1,000 < $10,000.
David is charged with no registration receipt, no registration plates, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (1st offense – methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia (buy/possess), license to be in possession, and receiving stolen property $1,000 < $10,000.
Burba and Davis are lodged at the Hart County Jail.
