Hart County man charged with sexual abuse of children

HARDYVILLE, Ky. – A Hart County man is charged with sexual abuse involving two children under 12.

According to a uniform citation, 40-year-old Daymon Horton Jr. of Hardyville was arrested Thursday, July 18 on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age.

The Kentucky State Police says troopers responded Thursday for a sexual abuse complaint involving children.

Upon arrival, authorities say Horton was interviewed and admitted to inappropriate physical contact with two children.

Horton remains at the Hart County Jail on a $9,500 cash bond.
