Hart County man accused of sex offenses

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky.- A 25-year-old man from Munfordville is behind bars after Kentucky State Police charged him with first-degree rape-domestic violence and first-degree distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

According to the law enforcement agency, Deven Avery was arrested Wednesday after an investigation into a complaint that Avery posted several sexually explicit images of underage females online.

The investigation resulted in the execution of an arrest warrant at a residence in Munfordville. According to police, equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to the Kentucky State Police forensic laboratory for examination.

Avery is being held on a $100,000 bond inside the Hart County Jail.
