Hart County couple charged with drug possession in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Hart County couple is facing drug charges.

Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Major Terry Flatt says an officer conducted a traffic stop on N L Rogers Wells Boulevard on Sunday.

Flatt says the officer identified the driver as Jessie Jackson, 46, and the occupant as Samantha Jackson, 35. The officer confirmed that Samantha Jackson had an active warrant.

An officer searched the vehicle and located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Jessie Jackson is charged with disregarding a traffic control device, no registration plates, no registration receipt, license to have a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Samantha Jackson is charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The couple is lodged at the Barren County Detention Center.
