Hart Co. man charged with harassing communications, fawn found at home

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. – A Hart County man is charged with harassing communications following a 911 call on Interstate 65.

According to a uniform citation, 37-year-old Daniel Hogan of Munfordville called 911 twice on Monday regarding a reckless driving report on I-65 northbound at 53-mile marker.

Authorities say they located the reported vehicle and spoke to the driver.

Troopers say they learned the driver had been followed for several miles by Hogan.

Authorities say a female passenger of the vehicle stated Hogan “will not leave her alone” and has been harassing her.

Troopers say they located Hogan at his home, and he was placed under arrest.

While there, troopers say they found a fawn at the residence, which Hogan said he had been feeding with a bottle. Authorities say the fawn was transported to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office to be picked up by Kentucky Fish and Wildlife.

Hogan is charged with harassing communications and propagation and holding of wildlife without permit. Hogan has since been released from the Hart County Jail.
