Hart Co. jailer, family raising funds with ‘Cans for Canines’

HART COUNTY, Ky. – Hart County jailer Israel Bergenson and his family are conducting a “Cans for Canines” fundraiser for the Hart County Animal Shelter.

To recycle empty cans for a cause, you can simply bring them to a trailer at Ace Hardware in Munfordville, according to HCAS.

When the cans are exchanged for money, the shelter says the Bergenson family and Ace Hardware will match that amount in donations.
