Hart Co. Animal Shelter hosting code red adoption event

HART COUNTY, Ky. – The Hart County Animal Shelter says it’s under a code red, and it’s asking for the community’s help.

The animal shelter says you can start the year off on the right paw at their code red adoption event this Saturday.

Code red means the shelter is at capacity and has no more space to be able to take in new animals.

There are reduced adoption prices, including spay and neuter costs, up-to-date vaccines and a microchip.

The shelter will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4.
