Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, emergency personnel respond to fatal crash

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. – The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash.

According to a social media post by the department, deputies responded to a fatal two-vehicle collision on Joe Prather Highway, two miles east of Shepherdsville Road, Wednesday afternoon.

HCSO says Joe Prather Highway is closed in both directions for one to two hours for investigation.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
