Ham with local ties auctions off for $10M at charity auction

LOUISIVLLE, Ky. – The annual Kentucky Farm Bureau Country Ham Breakfast and Charity Auction took place Thursday.
During the live auction, Kelly and Joe Craft, along with Central Bank, combined their bids, donating a total of $10 million to causes across Kentucky.
This year’s grand champion country ham produced by Josh Poling weighed a total of 16.5 pounds.
Since its inception in 1964, the Country Ham Breakfast and Charity Auction has raised nearly $54 million for nonprofit organizations and other charities across Kentucky.
The Crafts and Central Bank have teamed up to buy the ham together for several years in a row now.
