Guthrie selected as ranking member of House subcommittee

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- South Central Kentucky Congressman, Brett Guthrie, has been named the ranking member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

Guthrie has served on the committee since 2010.

Last Congress, the subcommittee addressed a number of important issues, ranging from the opioid crisis, the Zika outbreak and cybersecurity.

Guthrie called the selection “an honor.”

Congresswoman Diana DeGette, of Colorado, has been selected as the Chair of the committee.
