Group bids $5,000 to be on magazine cover in order to help local health organization

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The faces you’ll see on the latest edition of VIP magazine will be of those who decided to donate $5,000 for the honor in order to help a local health organization.

At the Nov. 16 Med Center Health Foundation’s 15th annual Charity Ball, Optimum Rejuvenation bid $5,000 during the ball’s live auction to be featured on the cover of the December/January VIP magazine.

All of the money raised at the annual event funds Med Center Health’s Community Clinic and the Dental Clinic. The clinics ease the financial burden to patients in need of basic medical and dental care.

“In this community, we still struggle with the fact that some people are underinsured or don’t have health insurance at all. Through this foundation, it’s just a great help for people who need medical or dental work,” said Justin Geralds, who works for Optimum Rejuvenation.

Over $300,000 was raised during the Charity Ball this year for the clinics.
