Groove & Glow brings Glasgow community together
GLASGOW, Ky. – Glasgow’s Groove and Glow kicked off for a second time to light up the sky!
April Russell of Entertain Glasgow said the event is the biggest the group does for the year to bring the community out where everything is free.
“We want to essentially throw a party for the community,” said Russell.
The event included food vendors, kids activities and hot air balloons at the Glasgow Municipal Airport. Music, including Glasgow’s own Kenton Bryant, added to the night. Russell said it’s “all about local” with local sponsors, the local community and local businesses.
Sponsors this year included Philips, IGA and T.J. Samson.
Russell said they were super excited to bring it back since Groove and Glow was stopped for two years due to COVID after the very first one took place.
