Griffin selected as head football coach of Russellville High

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A new coach is at the helm of the Russellville Football program.
According to a release, William Griffin, a Franklin native, will assume the position of head football coach starting in the 2026 season.
Griffin attended Franklin-Simpson High School, where he was a three-sport letterman in football, basketball and track.
He earned a football scholarship to Campbellsville University. Griffin went on to play at the university for four years.
Griffin served as a teacher and coach at Campbellsville Independent Schools since 2015. Griffin was an offensive coordinator or assistant coach for the football program that won 4 Region 1, District 2 Championships and 5-time Region 1 Champions/Semi-State Finalist.
Griffin will be introduced at the Russellville High School’s Girls’ Basketball game on Thursday evening.
