Greenwood, South Warren ranked among top county high schools

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – U.S. News World Report has released its list of the Best Kentucky High Schools, and two local schools ranked in top spots for Warren County.
According to the report, Greenwood High School came in at No. 1, while South Warren High School ranked at No. 2 for Warren County.
Overall, Greenwood came in at No. 16, and South Warren followed at No. 19 statewide.
In addition, Glasgow High School ranked at No. 17 in Kentucky.
U.S. News World Report states schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college.
The following are the 20 top schools in Kentucky overall, according to the report:
- Dupont Manual High School in Louisville
- North Oldham High School in Goshen
- J. Graham Brown School in Louisville
- South Oldham High School in Crestwood
- Beechwood High School in Fort Mitchell
- Highlands High School in Fort Thomas
- Murray High School in Murray
- Oldham County High School in La Grange
- Louisville Male High School in Louisville
- Barbourville City School in Barbourville
- Pikeville High School in Pikeville
- Ballard High School in Louisville
- Atherton High School in Louisville
- Green County High School in Greensburg
- Lafayette High School in Lexington
- Green County High School in Bowling Green
- Glasgow High School in Glasgow
- Corbin High School in Corbin
- South Warren High School in Bowling Green
