Greenwood Softball names Taylor Proctor new head coach
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Greenwood High School announced Tuesday that Taylor Proctor will take over as head coach of the girl’s softball team.
Proctor most recently served as an assistant coach at South Warren High School this past season, as well as coaching South Warren’s Middle School softball team in 2018 and Logan County Middle School’s team in 2017.
Proctor played high school softball at Greenwood for two years, winning back-to-back state championships before moving on to South Warren for her last two seasons of high school eligibility.
She then went on to play collegiately for three years at Lindsey Wilson College from 2012-2014 before transferring to Western Kentucky University.
As a member of the Hilltoppers, Proctor earned Conference USA All-Tournament Team honors in 2017.
Proctor is currently a teach at Greenwood High School as well.
