Green River Ferry closed for inspection

MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – The Green River Ferry will be closed until further notice.
According to a post on an official Mammoth Cave National Park X account, the Green River Ferry will be closed to traffic. The closure is due to a hydraulic issue.
Officials are inspecting the vessel and do not anticipate the ferry being re-opened for morning operating on Monday.
The Green River Ferry is closed to all traffic due to a hydraulic issue. Park staff are evaluating the vessel but it is not expected to be fixed before morning operations on Monday.
