Greek life apparel store to close down this month

College Graffiti has been a staple in Bowling Green for 30 years

The lone shop near Western Kentucky University’s campus to sell and make apparel for Greek organizations will soon reach its omega.

College Graffiti is set to close is doors for good at the end of the fall semester next week.

The store, which is located at 1231 Center Street in Bowling Green, has been a staple in the WKU Greek community for the last 30 years, offering fraternities and sororities the ability to create and buy any and all of their organization’s apparel needs.

The store opened in August of 1988 by owner Diana Signorello, whose daughter Patty needed apparel for her sorority at WKU, but there weren’t any options in town.

College Graffiti has also been active in participating in Greek life events on the Hill as well. The store has contributed to multiple philanthropies, fundraisers, and Greek Week in the spring.

While the storefront will be closing up shop in a little over a week, Signorello says students will still be able to make purchases online.
