Great Big Kentucky Adventure features attractions in south-central Kentucky

CAVE CITY, Ky. – A unique and retro way to learn about attractions from throughout the Commonwealth is now available.

The Great Big Kentucky Adventure allows players to take control of one of many characters and make your way through levels themed around different Kentucky attractions.

3 of these are from right here in South Central Kentucky, including Cave City’s Dinosaur World.

A project from tourism boards across the Commonwealth, this game looks to find a way to get kids interested in local attractions.

“If we can reach the kids of the families, then they’ll say ‘hey, I want to go see the dinosaur… or I want to go see… the big fork in the road in Franklin… things like that. It’s just trying to put a spin on something fun into the marketing part of this project,” Jennifer McNett, Cave City’s Tourism Director says.

You can also see Franklin’s Fork in the Road and Kentucky’s version of Stonehenge in Munfordville, with 12 levels in total.
