LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A Grayson County man was arrested after allegedly attacking an older adult woman.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on St Paul Road for an assault of a female victim.

The victim told law enforcement her relative, Dalton Russell, 20, of Leitchfield, said to her that he was going to “drink with some buddies” around midnight.

The victim says Russell returned to the home at around 5 am and “went off,” striking her with a baseball bat several times.

Russell was allegedly under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
