Governor issues State of Emergency

KENTUCKY – Severe weather is gripping the Commonwealth this weekend.
On Sunday evening, Governor Andy Beshear issued a State of Emergency. The governor issued a statement on his Facebook page.
“Severe weather continues to move through the commonwealth with multiple reports of wind damage and tornadoes. I have issued a State of Emergency to ensure the communities impacted have the resources they need to respond. We will provide more information once it is available. Stay safe, everyone. We will get through this together, like we always do.”
The South Central Kentucky area is experiencing significant wind damage.
