Governor Beshear comments on 3rd anniversary of tornadoes in Western Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – As we continue to remember the third anniversary of the 2021 tornadoes, Governor Andy Beshear addressed this anniversary in his Team Kentucky update Thursday.

Beshear talked about his recent visits to the communities hit the hardest, like Mayfield and Dawson Springs.

He also mentioned visiting a family in Muhlenberg County, who lost their five-month-old son during the tornadoes.

Beshear says through it all, the commonwealth, the U.S. and the world came together to help Kentucky rebuild.

“Throughout this challenge, we stood together, shoulder to shoulder, neighbor helping neighbor. We leaned on Team Kentucky spirit, and now we are rebuilding stronger than ever because of the love and compassion of Kentuckians and as well as the love and assistance that poured in from around the world,” he says.
