Gov. Beshear stops in Bowling Green to award funding to various projects in BRADD area
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Governor Andy Beshear made a stop in Warren County at the Barren River Area Development District, where Beshear awarded over $10 million to projects in the BRADD area.
These projects include North Central Telephone Cooperative and Warren RECC’s plan to bring internet access to the region, road projects and improving cybersecurity in the district.
Local officials from each county were on hand to accept the funding. Beshear spoke about how important each of these projects are.
“These projects wouldn’t be possible without y’all. They are the result of so much effort that you have put in, and we’re excited to hear about each and every one of them,” Beshear says.
He also thanked BRADD for all they’ve done in the past to help the community, citing their response to the 2021 tornadoes.
Senator Mike Wilson, who was also on hand, says these projects help secure the future, support families and foster prosperity for generations ahead.
