Gov. Beshear endorses Patti Minter for Mayor of Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Governor Andy Beshear was in Warren County Monday afternoon, doing many things, including giving his endorsement for one of the biggest races in Bowling Green in November.
On his tour, he stopped by downtown Bowling Green to endorse former state representative Patti Minter in her campaign for mayor.
“I saw her work working in the General Assembly on economic development. What she did there made such a difference here… and she cares, with every bit of her being. She cares about the people of Kentucky and the people of Bowling Green, and when you have somebody who is willing to do the work, whose heart is in the right place, you get really special things that happen. She has my full endorsement,” he says.
She returned that support, saying she’s proud to have his endorsement in her campaign.
“We are so lucky to have the best governor in the United States… and to have earned his endorsement is beyond an honor… but I know firsthand from working with him when I was in the capital what he has done for our city… and I’m so ready to continue that work together to make this a better Bowling Green for all of us,” Minter says.
