Gov. Beshear announces over 1,700 new COVID cases Monday

Governor Andy Beshear announced during his daily press briefing on Monday that Kentucky had 1,745 new positive cases of COVID-19.
The commonwealth has now had 122,567 cases since the start of the pandemic in March. Of that, 11,109 have recovered.
There is a 7.49% positivity rate in Kentucky, as of Monday, and 2,248,085 tests have been administered since March.
Gov. Beshear also announced that 11 people have died as a result of the virus on Monday. Kentucky has now lost 1,576 people from COVID-19.
