Gov. Andy Beshear recognizes growth and recovery since natural disasters
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – As we get close to the second anniversary of the devastating December tornadoes, Gov. Andy Beshear recognized
the recovery and progress being made in Western Kentucky during his latest Team Kentucky Update.
Although we have a long way to go, there has been growth $52.3 million given to support people who are still recovering from the damage.
Beshear expressed where he stands when it comes to helping those in need during troubling times.
He says, “At first light after the tornadoes in Western Kentucky and the floods in Eastern Kentucky, I was there. Making the promise that we would rebuild every home and every life. It’s a promise we are continuing to keep.”
The governor is getting inaugurated into his second term as governor for the next four years.
