Gov. Andy Beshear orders flags to half-staff in honor of Lewiston, Maine, victims

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff until sunset Monday, Oct. 30 to honor the victims lost in the shooting Wednesday night in Lewiston, Maine.

The incident occurred late Wednesday night and resulted in at least 18 casualties.

Beshear encourages individuals, businesses and organizations throughout the commonwealth to join in this tribute.
