Golden alert issued for man in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a golden alert has been issued for a missing man.

The sheriff’s office says it is searching for 39-year-old David E. Dees. Authorities say he was last seen Aug. 2 at noon off of Douglas Boulevard in Laurel County.

Deputies say Dees has autism, bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder.

He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and 168 pounds with blue eyes, brown shoulder length hair and an unshaven face.

Authorities say he may be traveling in a black Chevy Avalanche with a Kentucky tag of M1T140.
