Goin’ CATS for the Bowling Green Hot Rods

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- It was a Feline Frenzy tonight at the Bowling Green Hot Rods game!

For the first time, the Hot Rods invited fans to bring their cat to the ballpark! Any brave cat who loves the outdoors and is used to being on a harness was welcome.

The Hot Rods played cat videos, had a cat tiara giveaway and cat-themed games.

And the Hot Rods gave back for the special event…$3 from each ticket will be donated to the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society.

“We bring out different people. Of course, everyone loves baseball. But sometimes it’s like this night sounds fun, a cat night, a superhero night, you know we want something for everyone. So we thought we’ll try this out and see how it goes the cat ear giveaway has been very very popular and we’ve had everyone sign up for cat games, so it’s something different we can tack on to our fun list of things we’ve done here at the ballpark,” said BG Hot Rods Director of Marketing and Corporate Partnerships Ashlee Wilson.

Turbo was nowhere in sight tonight…but dogs are welcome at Turbo’s Tail Waggin Tuesdays.
