Glory Baby Ministry successfully hits fundraising goal for 10th heavenly birthday challenge
BOWLING GREEN Ky.-Glory Baby Ministry is celebrating a milestone thanks to community support.
The non-profit wanted to raise $10,000 in honor of the 10th heavenly birthday of Josh and Jessica Heffinger’s stillborn daughter Riley Marie. This is called the 10th heavenly birthday challenge.
The Heffingers hit that goal, even going over, raising $10,030.
Heffinger said the success of this fundraiser is a testament to the giving nature of the community, and she had no doubts that people would help out.
Glory Baby Ministry specializes in making burial gowns or memorial packages for parents grieving a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.
