Glasgow woman charged with promoting prostitution after massage parlor search

 

GLASGOW, Ky. – On Wednesday, April 6, the Glasgow Police Department served a search warrant at the Summer Spa Massage Parlor located on S L Rogers Wells Boulevard.

According to a release, the GPD had received complaints and tips related to illegal human trafficking, promoting prostitution, providing sexual services for compensation and operating without a license.

An investigation was conducted for the Summer Spa Massage Parlor at 509-C S L Rogers Wells Blvd. by a detective. Search warrant operations were conducted at the business where an officer located over $22,000 in cash and arrested one female for promoting prostitution.

Jing Jing Zheng, 32, of Glasgow was arrested and charged with promoting prostitution and practicing massage therapy without a license.

Zheng was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.

The case is still under investigation.
