Glasgow woman arrested on DUI, drug charges

GLASGOW, Ky. – One woman was arrested on several charges in Glasgow Thursday following a vehicle accident.

On July 14, the Glasgow Police Department responded to an injury accident. According to the GPD, a 2007 Mitsubishi Galant being driven by Amy Graham of Glasgow was traveling eastbound on West Front Street and collided with a 2002 Yamaha Motorcycle being operated by James D Walbert of Glasgow, who was traveling northbound on North Race Street and passing through the intersection.

An officer made contact with Amy Graham and detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside her vehicle, according to authorities. The GPD stated officers located a small amount of marijuana inside the vehicle, along with rolling papers, a glass pipe and methamphetamine residue.

Officers also determined Graham was impaired at the time of the accident, stated authorities.

Graham, 42, of Glasgow, was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment, first degree, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance, first offense (aggravating circumstances), possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to produce an insurance card.

Graham was lodged in Barren County Detention Center.
