Glasgow woman arrested on child endangerment charge
A Glasgow mother is arrested on a child endangerment charge following accusations she left her five-year-old son unattended and in close proximity of drugs and alcohol.
According to the arrest report, Glasgow police responded to a call from a social worker near Adams Place, who found a five-year-old child unattended.
The report states the young boy didn’t know where he lived but once police arrived, the child’s mother, Sara Crenshaw, 35, showed up and began blaming the child for wandering off.
On her approval, police re-located and began a search at Crenshaw’s residence on Park Avenue.
The report states multiple individuals who did not live there were drinking across from the child’s bedroom, several prescriptions were out in the open within a child’s reach, and there was little or no food found in the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator.
Crenshaw was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
