GLASGOW, Ky.- An 18-year-old driver is under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana, while his 19-year-old passenger is in the hospital, following a vehicle crash on Wednesday.

According to the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened just before 2:30 p.m. on Old Bowling Green Road.

Authorities say Warren Hoffman, 18, of Glasgow, lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel off the roadway. A passenger, Kaitlyn Gentry, 19, of Glasgow, was airlifted from the scene to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. for treatment of her injuries.
