Glasgow police investigating armed robbery at Circle K store

GLASGOW, Ky.- Authorities in Barren County are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a Circle K store in Glasgow.

According to Glasgow police, it happened just after 4 a.m. on Monday at the store on Columbia Avenue.

Officers say the suspect entered the store, demanded money from the clerk and brandished a handgun.

Investigators say the suspect left the store with several packs of cigarettes, along with an undetermined amount of cash.

The store clerk was not harmed.

Police describe the suspect as a man with dreadlocks. In surveillance images, he’s seen wearing jeans, a North Face jacket, a black head covering, black mask and gloves.
