Glasgow police investigate shooting that landed one man in the hospital
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place in the parking lot of Speedway located on Grandview Avenue Sunday after an altercation between two men.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m., and one man was taken by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS to T. J. Sampson Community Hospital with a single gun shot wound to his leg, according to police.
No other injuries were reported, according to police.
Involved parties are communicating with police and the person injured is in stable condition, according to detectives.
The case remains under investigation as of 8 p.m. Sunday.
